Considering the multicultural population of Cambridge, it is only right
that we embrace every possible opportunity for a celebration, festival
or party and, at this depressing time of year, we need one. After
surviving the most depressing day of the year on ‘Blue Monday’, this
week was all about choosing the perfect way to celebrate Burns Night.
Attending a traditional Burns Night supper - complete with music,
dancing, poetry, authentic Scottish dishes and some top notch single
malt whiskies - proved to be very popular in Cambridge, and not just
with the Scots amongst us.
